I am pleased to inform you that the 4th International Conference on Compudational Design in Engineering (CODE2018) will be held on April 1-5, 2018 in Changwon, South Korea.
As the chairman of the CODE2018, I take a great deal of pleasure to invite you to participate in the event by submitting an abstract. Cordially, you are also invited to organize a mini-symposium in the area of your interest. A mini-symposium may have a single session or multiple sessions and each session is constituted with 5-7 papers. Details including venue, important dates, topics, and abstract/symposia proposal submissions can be found on the conference website (http://code2018.org/).
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
I sincerely look forward to welcoming you at the event when cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Prof. Sang-Ho Lee
President, Computational Structural Engineering Institute of Korea (COSEIK)
Call for abstracts
Abstracts can be submitted via online submission system on the website. The deadline for submission is December 16th 2017, and the acceptance will be announced on December 31st 2017. Submission of extended abstracts (2 page max.) or full papers is not mandatory (only abstracts are mandatory), but we do accept those until January 31st 2018. Selected full papers will be considered for possible publication in Structural Engineering and Mechanics (SEM), Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (JMST), Advances in Computational Design (ACD), and etc. The scope of the conference includes (but is not limited to) Computational Mechanics, BIM, CAD/CAE, Applied Mathematics, IT Disaster Prevention, and upcoming issues in regards with the 4th industrial revolution.
Call for mini-symposia
The proposals are encouraged to address any timely and coherent developments in all aspects of current and future responses to upcoming issues in computer engineering toward a new age. The conference is mainly intended to broaden the fields of application of the disciplines to include areas relating to 4th industrial revolution in both engineering and sciences. We also welcome proposals that explore interdisciplinary connections within related areas of engineering and sciences at any level.
The deadline for MS proposal submission is December 1st 2017.
MS proposals must include (1) title of MS, (2) abstract of MS, (3) personal information of MS organizer such as name of the organizer (and chair) and affiliation, and (4) number of expected presenters.
MS proposals can be directly submitted via e-mail to the conference Secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
